Upon launching the software, you will be greeted by a new, animated main menu. From here, you can access a series of —a feature new to version 0.990. There are seven tutorials covering everything from basic camera controls and selection to time manipulation and using the universe map. It is highly recommended to complete these before your first voyage. Learning the controls (WASD for movement, mouse for look, F2 for the planetarium, and F3 for the star browser) will transform the experience from frustrating to euphoric.
