Titu Andreescu (born August 19, 1956) is an associate professor of mathematics at the University of Texas at Dallas. Hailing from Timișoara, Romania, he earned his BA, MS, and PhD from the West University of Timișoara. As a high school student, he excelled in mathematics, winning the Romanian national problem-solving contests in 1973, 1974, and 1975.
